Elizabeth Olis
CEO - Nurse Practitioner
Elizabeth graduated from Louisiana State University with a BSN in 1987. She then went on to obtain her MSN from University of South Florida in 2013 with a concentration as a Clinical Nurse Leader. She ultimately returned to Regis College in 2018 and obtained her Post-master’s Certificate as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Areas of concentration in her career as a nurse include: cardiology, diabetic management, case management, home health, wound care, CVICU, and telemedicine. She became involved in telemedicine while employed at the Veteran’s Administration in 2003. While at the VA, she aided in the development of numerous telemedicine programs and wrote many protocols and guidelines for the Telehealth program both at the local, VISN, and national levels. I have practiced in many different areas of the country including: Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, North Dakota, Colorado, Connecticut, Oklahoma, Iowa, Wisconsin, and New Mexico.
Personally: I was raised in Louisiana. I am the mother of three adult children and three grandchildren. My children all followed my career path in medicine. Outside of medicine you will find me travelling, spending quality family time, cooking, creating, and enjoying LSU football.
Erica Montoya
CNO / Director of Nursing and Clinical Services
Erica Montoya, born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, overcame early challenges, losing her parents to addiction during high school. Despite this, she excelled in the arts and dance, while also earning her CNA certificate. Her frontline work during the COVID-19 pandemic as an RN showcased her dedication. Now pursuing higher education, Erica aims to make healthcare more accessible through her innovative business ventures. She’s a beacon of hope and determination, poised to leave a lasting impact on her community and beyond.
Jolene Gurule
Lead Medical Assistant
Jolene is a Santa Fe local, who is the youngest of four siblings. Jolene is a dedicated mother of two, and has been in the medical field for over nine years. During her career, she has completed certifications in Phlebotomy, CPR, and Medical Assisting as well as work as an OB Tech. Currently, Jolene is utilizing her skills and qualifications to provide top-notch service to patients in the medical field. Jolene also has experience in office work, with a proven ability to work efficiently, multitask, and manage time wisely to ensure all duties are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Jolene is an ambitious individual, constantly pushing herself to improve and take her career to the next level. She prides herself on being a knowledgeable and skilled health care worker. She consistently strives to be the best she can be to ensure that the patients under her care are receiving the finest quality of care. Jolene refuses to be complacent and is continuously looking for new ways to expand her expertise and knowledge in the medical field. She sets high standards for herself and is always looking for new opportunities to grow and develop.

The focus of the company is to remove corporate barriers to healthcare thereby placing focus on the patient. Utilization of telemedicine applications allows primary and specialty care to patients looking to establish care in the Santa Fe and surrounding counties in New Mexico. At Sunflower Mobile & Medical Clinic, LLC we thrive on bringing patients quality and accessible health care in a timely manner. We believe that the patient comes first and bringing quality healthcare conveniently and timely to patients in a location that is comfortable allows the patient to heal thereby reducing healthcare costs and increasing patient satisfaction across the continuum.
Company history: The concept of Sunflower Mobile & Medical Clinic, LLC formulated in the Spring of 2022 Erica’s elderly, homebound family member became ill and was unable to go to the doctor’s office. Unable to locate a healthcare provider willing to see her family member, Erica contacted Elizabeth for assistance. This saved the family member the trauma of an ER visit. Recognizing this was the prime example of the lack of healthcare resources within our community, Erica approached Elizabeth and a seed was planted to establish access to quality healthcare to a population of patients lacking access to care.
Mission: Providing early access to care to adult/geriatric patients who are unable to leave their home or lack primary care in the Santa Fe areas using telemedicine technologies.
Vision: To provide quality healthcare without corporate restrictions. To allow patients access to quality healthcare professionals in an atmosphere where they feel heard and understood. To become the employer of choice where employees feel valued and that they make a difference in patients’ lives. To bridge the gap between lack of healthcare resources, primary, and specialty care while improving patient safety and satisfaction. To provide mentorship to young nurses aspiring to advance their career.
